Welding Cell Upgrade

Active

Expanding welding training capacity with additional stations and improved ventilation. This upgrade includes new MIG and TIG setups for student use, along with better fume extraction to improve air quality in the welding area.

The project addresses a bottleneck in our welding fundamentals classes, where demand has consistently exceeded available station time. More stations means more students can train simultaneously without compromising safety or instruction quality.

Scope of work

  • Two additional MIG welding stations
  • One dedicated TIG station for aluminum work
  • Upgraded fume extraction system
  • Improved lighting and workspace layout
